Another Day passed... (24-3-11)

Again, Im back to talk about my 'exceptional' day in the hair dressing salon... It was much like last week.. except I didnt get my hair washed :(...

This is my day in number points :D:
  1. I walked in the salon, I said Hi to my Supervisor because Im nice like that :)
  2. Then I offered to sweep the floor (Is that initiative?)
  3. I swept the floor....
  4. I asked if they needed more stuff done...
  5. THEN...... I was asked to clean all the shelves and products AGAIN!!! sooo another 4 hours fly for that day....
  6. I had my lunch break, which I had a nice ham and salad sandwich + a delicious chocolate cake the lovely cooking staff at Iona had prepared for me to have for recess.
  7. I finished my lunch break early, because I was extremely bored and facebook mobile wasnt satisfying me enough...
  8. I then finished off the shelves I had left over....
  9. I did 1 million foils!! took me forever.... actually I didnt finish because you know the day flys by so quickly... Not really felt like it was never gonna end...
  10. In between foils and shelves I cleaned up the stations after the hair cuts were over... ready awaiting another person.. and you know what another person means .... more cleaning but with a good 40 minute intervals...
  11. I had a snack break yummm caramel slice and salt and vinegar smiths chips! That makes my day...
  12. What doesnt make my day is that my braces wire breaks and flicks me in the gum.... But that didnt matter when Im getting the wire changed tommorow which I get to miss to periods of school which is cool... No CFC and Religion for me :D.....
Thats pretty much my day in great detail... I hope this blog isnt too "personal" for you but If I didnt do it any other then I would sound like a robot... in my opinion...

See you next thursday :D

How was my day?

To my blog,
Today (well yesterday now) (which is now last Thursday now when I actually post this) was a good day at the Hair Salon I work at once a week. It was different then most days, because I actually did something most of the time... Okay here is my day in a list:

  1. Stacked shelves for 4 hours! It was hard, because you had to clean every product and then put them all back up again... Its hard to believe something this silly took 4 hours.
  2. I swept the floor - This was maybe the easiest job because you have to sweep up hair whenever they finish a hair cut so it is usually in 40 minute intervals
  3. I folded the foils- Okay before this day I never knew you had to do it. First you grab the cut foil which is in a rectangle shape then there is usually a cut edge on the short sides that is usually jagged. When this edge usually gets caught on the hair when they pull it out, it can pull on the hair. To minimise this you fold this raw edge by a centimetre then you over fold that. Just to make it more secure. Anyway I think that knowing this wouldn't be very important but anyway learn something new every day.
  4. Get my hair washed and Blowdryed - wait thats not a job.. Well anyway it did happen and it was soooo good. I love getting my hair washed it feels soo nice, because the waters sooo perfect on your hair. Well I was lucky enough to get this done, well the apprentice there needed more practice and she was going to do it on a manequin, but manequin's (is that how you spell manequin?) hair are disgusting. So what would be better than doing it on a real person.
So my day was pretty good, didnt do much obviously but everything on that list filled my day which is 8 hours.

Anyway here is some pictures of me after hair dressing just to add some colours to this blog. :D
Have a nice and Happy week until this thursday.... im retired from this blog.
